UNICEF – The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is a United Nations (UN) program headquartered in New York City that provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries. It is a member of the United Nations Development Group.
KSTA – The Kaduna State Transport Authority (KSTA) was established by edict No. 9 of May, 1978 and was charged with some major responsibilities among which are; to provide, manage and operate urban, inter-state, intra-state and even international transport services for both passengers and goods. However, the edict has been replaced with a new law that established Kaduna State Transport Regulatory Agency (KADSTRA).
ALIVE AND THRIVE – Alive & Thrive is an initiative to save lives, prevent illness, and ensure healthy growth and development through improved Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices. As a behavior change project, A&T applies innovative approaches to improve nutrition practices in the first 1,000 days, from conception to two years of age.
SAVE THE CHILDREN – Save the Children is a focused international humanitarian and development organization that is dedicated to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.
SYNERGOS – Synergos is a global non-profit organization, funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Synergos is working on Agriculture and Nutrition running under a program called SPA (State Partnership for Agriculture) in Kaduna, Kogi and Benue.
CS-SUNN – The Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) is a non-governmental, non-profit making coalition made up of organizations with a shared vision to transform Nigeria into a country where every citizen has food and is nutrition secured.
UNILEVER – UNILEVER is a British-Dutch transnational consumer goods company co-headquartered in London, United Kingdom and Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is the world’s largest consumer goods company measured by 2012 revenue and is one of the oldest multinational companies; its products are available in around 190 countries.
